Hi. Matt with etrailer. And today, we're going to be talking about the RV Designer's screen door slider door, so let's take a closer look at it. So, I wanted to show you guys our old screen door, and this guy here, he's seen some better days. And on top of that, he's a little bit flimsy. This is kind of natural.

If these have been through a lot of extreme heats and colds, that plastic here eventually is gonna make this a little bit brittle. And this one in general is a thinner one. The one I have on here right now is gonna be a bit thicker, and it has a lot of reinforcement on it. So not only will it be a great replacement for your old one, but it's also gonna last a long time. So I do wanna mention that you can get this in black or white, so whatever is best fit for your interior.

And when it comes to actually using it, you're gonna have two spots you can push from or pull from. Both these handles. Feel easy enough to go. And I don't have any resistance from sliding it back and forth. That feels pretty good.

Also, if you do have some resistance, it's not a bad idea to check, just your screen door itself maybe it's been damaged over time. So just double check that too. But you do get a lot of coverage with this. So you can see on this side, we don't have any gaps. So when it is those nicer days, you wanna have some wind flowing through here, you'll be able to have not only the wind through here, but no bugs coming along with them.

Now, installing these is really easy to do. It's not gonna take you any time, but you do wanna make sure it is gonna be compatible with your setup. So the size of this one right here is gonna be 12 inches wide and 11 3/4 inches tall. Now, if that's gonna fit up with your setup or not, what I'll do is just gonna show you what we currently have. So just a distance from end to end is gonna be about 11 1/2 inches, but of course there are some grooves in here that this settles into. So if yours looks about that height, this is gonna be compatible. And really for the width, in most cases, this is gonna be compatible with most widths out there. The biggest thing is just making sure that you're gonna have a hole that's gonna be under 12 inches, or it's not gonna be wide enough. Now, when it comes to taking it off, all I have to do is peel down on here. Comes right out just like that. If you have one that's been in here for a long time, it's gonna be pretty flimsy and it'll be really easy to remove it. For putting in your new one, I'll typically just put it in at an angle, just like this. Make sure everything's aligned, push down, and try to bend it a little bit. We get it started looking good, I'll push down with my thumb on the other side till it pushes in. Give it a little bit of a wiggle, go back and forth, make sure it slides properly, and there we go. It's working just fine now. But that pretty much does it for the installation and some of the details of this door slider. Now, if you guys have any other questions, let us know here at etrailer. And again, I'm Matt, and thanks for watching.
