Here we have a competitive Stamina Warden Dual Wield/Bow Rotation for Elsweyr, especially good in 12-man Trials.
This is a rotation performed on the new Raid Dummy. This means there are a selection of buffs and debuffs present, which allows easy comparison between different classes, and for other players to compare against each other, if they wish, as a 'solo' player, without the need of help from another player; a really valuable addition to the game.
I am using the Max Stam/Stam Regen food for all Stamina setups in these comparison tests. The key is to simulate raid sustain. Gear-wise, I am using Velidreth and Perfected Relequen / Lokkestiiz, which looks to be the best bet for many situations.
Stamina Warden had no real class balance changes affecting PVE DPS in Elsweyr. The dual wield setup has seen nice changes to Rapid Strikes (21% buff and supposedly made easier to weave) and Whirling Blades, which gives the Stamina Warden a pretty potent execute ability. In this video, I show Rapid Strikes being used as the spammable. In a separate video that I recorded a few weeks ago, I show how Whirling Blades can be incorporated with an updated parse below: youtube.com/watch?v=5cUmWulK7Fs
But here, I will show a rotation which uses Rapid Strikes instead of Cutting Dive. I should first mention however, that Cutting Dive is still a very good spammable; one which offers great sustain and passives (e.g. Increased damage done by 3% since it is an Animal Companion skill). As with other Rapid Strike rotations, it has a slightly better time in proccing Relequen ticks, offers respectable sustain, has a slight execute effect. It's simply a strong spammable. Disadvantages include inconsistent DPS whenever a lot of blocking is involved since if the last tick does not hit, that's a reasonable amount of damage lost.
Note: both rotations are pretty close. I'd say that the Rapid Strikes one is slightly better value though. I wouldn't read too much into the individual parses, but just expect that Rapid Strikes might do slightly better.

Well, are vMA daggers any good? Yes and No. I don't necessarily think it is better. For Stamina Warden, Rearming Trap is best placed on the back bar. I've tried a few variations of the rotation, and frequently the Poison Injection empowerment doesn't happen because it is consumed by one of the Rearming Traps. There are ways around it, but I don't think it's a particularly good value for the effort needed.
--- Rotation
Here I demonstrate a more or less static rotation, one that will be familiar to existing Stamina Warden players.
Sub Assault is cast every 3 skills.
Sub - Hail - Trap -
Sub - Caltrops - Injection -
Sub - Free - Free -
Sub - Free - Free
The Free spots are where you can fit in Rending Slashes once per rotation, the Bear Ultimate if up, and the Bull Netch if needed. The rest of the spots can be filled with Rapid Strikes casts.
With regards to the bar setup, there is once again space for the Bull Netch on the front bar, and to have Bird of Prey (for Minor Berserk) double-barred. Should you decide to slot Whirling Blades as an execute, which you could, you could move the Bull Netch to the back bar in place of Bird of Prey. This slot can also be used for other flex options (such as Vigor).
As always, if there are any questions or comments feel free to leave them and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

![ESO - [Hodor] - Likorya - Magplar - vHOF Pinnacle Factotum - 1:44 Fight - Murkmire
This is from one of our early experiments this patch from a few weeks ago where I played as a Magplar (in a group comp of 7 stamblade DDs). Safe to say that going 8 stamblades is far more convenient for the support players and ultimately provides higher DPS output. Imagine slotting a selection of Guard, Combat Prayer, Minor Prophecy skill, Ele Drain and Engulfing Flames just for one person. Predictably not worth it, though I appreciate 8 stamina is not a suitable composition for every group and every trial.
I dont really know why Im uploading this, to be honest, I was just going through files to delete. I guess its a rare souvenir since it will likely remain the one and only time I played a Magplar in vHOF.
Gear: Slimecraw (lol), Sorrow body, Spell Strategist front.
Hodor achieved a 220,866 score in vHOF yesterday (and I finally got Tick Tock Tormentor myself, better late than never). Were not done in there yet so there might be more to come.

This is my last upload for the Murkmire Patch. I just need to say a thank you to my team-mates at Hodor. I was lucky enough to take part in all scores, but I just wish I could pay everyone back better by not dying in half of them.
Pushing vDSA was fun for two reasons:
- Great teammates
- Strong competition (shout out to Gotta Blast / What Mechanics)
We probably wont be going back, so hopefully this might help you guys in future runs, since theres not a lot of full runs out there.
Thanks to everyone for watching and reading my stuff up until now. I hope you may continue to enjoy them in Wrathstone onwards.

![ESO - Magicka Warden Rotation Showcase - See Description - Murkmire PTS 4.2.0
EDIT 1st October - Please see this video for better comparison against other Magicka Classes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD0Qn2edBIA
Just a quick rotation showcase for the Magicka Warden, with the new changes in mind. This is the PTS, so anything can be subject to change until the official release of Murkmire, which we should see in 4-5 weeks. Please see the updated video for news about further changes
I will highlight the fact that this is just a rotation showcase and not a build video as such since I didnt test much apart from a few enchants.
NOTE: I tested here with Minor Vulnerability (as is standard now for Magicka when comparing setups), elemental drain and orbs for support. I did not have Combat Prayer nor one of either (Minor Prophecy, Minor Sorcery or Engulfing Flames. Minor vulnerability was needed since I was comparing a Shock damage glyph with a frost and an Absorb Magicka one (theyre all basically the same). Thanks, @stileanima for your time.
I must say that the Magicka Warden rotation is more interesting to play than ever. DPS-wise, the MagWarden is roughly the same as it is in previous patches, if not a tiny bit lower. Before now, the rotation was basically just keeping up your dots, but now it is doing just that whilst casting Deep Fissure on cooldown which is pretty fun (I had an uptime of 94% in this video without recasting early, so I guess this is what you could aim for).
Bird of Prey, which gives Minor Berserk on cooldown, is one of the really nice changes, but for a Magicka Warden, there just isnt bar space for it, unfortunately.
I am also aware that with Screaming Cliff Racer, you will get more damage with this ability, the further away you stand. If you stand outside of Zaan range and used a different monster set combination instead though, your DPS is actually lower, thats how good Zaan is. However, it would be really good for the fights where you truly play ranged and dont use Zaan.
One thing that must be taken into account is the loss of 3% spell critical from our Champion Passives. This would result in a small DPS loss when playing solo, but when in a group with a Magsorc present, it wont really be a loss.
Another good thing is that the DPS loss without the bear vs with the bear is much smaller before. It is still around 2k or so less, but much better than the 5-6k in previous patches.
On the whole, though, it is still a tough ask for the Magicka Warden to compete with the top Magicka Nightblades, but there shouldnt be any reason not to bring a Magicka Warden DD along for 95%+ of raid groups.

Build Setup https://i.imgur.com/mQb6vZs.jpg
Here are the proposed changes to the Magicka Warden class:
- Advanced Species: Increased the bonus to damage done for each Animal Companion ability slotted to 3% at rank II, previously 2%.
- Betty Netch: Increased the resources restored by this ability and its morphs by approximately 60%.
- Dive - Screaming Cliff Racer (morph): This morph no longer has a minimum range requirement to obtain part of the 15% damage done bonus. Every meter you are away from the target adds 1% damage done, up to a maximum of 15%.
- Bird of Prey (morph): The Minor Berserk buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted.
- Feral Guardian: Decreased the damage done by the bear summoned from this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
- Scorch: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 25%.
- Swarm: Increased the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
