This is a showcase of the 2-Pet Sorcerer rotation for use in Elsweyr. This was filmed on the PTS 5.0.4 but is ready for the full release of the Elsweyr Chapter.
The 1-Pet Sorcerer rotation is in a separate video here: youtube.com/watch?v=2N9spInKIgM
This is a rotation performed on the new Raid Dummy. This means there are a selection of buffs and debuffs present, which allows easy comparison between different classes, and for other players to compare against each other, if they wish, as a 'solo' player, without the need of help from another player; a really valuable addition to the game.
Here I have made the decision to use the 'Ghastly Eye Bowl' food. This is so that we can compare more fairly with the Stamina classes where I used the equivalent food for Stamina classes. Also, to make up potential small sustain deficits from no availability from this dummy of Spell Absorption passive and resource return from extra synergies. The dummy also takes 4 minutes to kill. Considering very few fights need this type of sustained damage, and that my Magicka Drain is similar to that of the 6 Million Dummies I posted prior to this, I think this is reasonable. The DPS numbers for these dummies are mainly for comparison purposes.
Gear-wise I used Zaan, Mother's Sorrow and Siroria here. The new False God's Devotion set, which drops from Sunspire, looks to be an excellent set. In many real encounters where Siroria is not optimal, I may well be using Mother's Sorrow paired with this set and use Double Bloody Mara (which is now the best Bi-stat food).
Summary of relevent Magicka Sorcerer DD changes in Elseweyr, and my brief comments:
- Daedric Prey now has a Pet Taunt functionality (similar to the one built into Heavy Attacks), and pets will prioritize these targets. Damage bonus for Pets from this ability has been reduced to 40% from 55%. Pets were already very strong, so this change doesn't really hurt the PVE Pet Sorc too much.
- Liquid Lightning is now a 12 second AOE instead of 10 seconds. Lightning Flood is now an 8-second morph and had its damage increased by 5%. Very welcome buffs for the class, and now Lightning Flood is truly a great morph if it wasn't already. I would be using Lightning Flood now in any trial which involves cleave or trash DPS, even if Liquid Lightning's contribution to ST DPS may be higher.
- Endless Fury now returns Magicka if you hit a target which dies within 5 seconds, rather than only for the killing blow. Increased the Magicka return by approximately 10%. Although this skill doesn't see much use on a 2-Pet Sorc, its a nice quality of life improvement for Magsorcs in PVE.

This rotation has become one of my favourite rotations. It is fully dynamic and pretty chaotic if you're not on top of things. If this rotation is not performed well, then the 1-Pet Sorcerer rotation may likely deal more DPS and be a lot easier to try.
Daedric Prey is the most important ability to keep up. Followed closely are Lightning Flood (or Liquid Lightning if you rather) and blockade. Usually, I will recast Daedric Prey as soon as it explodes, in the video, I keep a 94% uptime of Daedric Prey with no early recasts. This is the type of uptime one should ultimately aim for. The Pet Scamp and then finally the Rearming Trap and Twilight are your lesser priorities in this rotation. Very often there will be conflicts in abilities that need to be reapplied to keep the above in mind. Crystal Fragments and then Elemental Weapon should be cast whenever there is nothing else to do.
One of the limitations of this rotation is the inflexible bar space. If bar space is an issue, I would recommend you check out the 1-Pet Sorcerer rotation (linked soon) where you can fit a Shield, Crit Surge, and other utility skills.
If I could possibly offer a static rotation, this would be it (although I don't think it'd be nearly as effective):
Buff Up:
Channelled Acceleration - Scamp - Twilight - Atro Ulti - Prey (then drop trap if you don't use acceleration)
Then
Flood - Wall - 4x Spammable (Ele Weapon/Frag) - Scamp - Prey
Flood - Wall - Twilight (until 50% then just use 1x Spammable) - Trap - 2x Spammable - Scamp - Prey
Any questions, please ask me in the comments!

![ESO - [Hodor] - vDSA - 49,524 Score - 39:04 Time - Full Run - Murkmire
This is my last upload for the Murkmire Patch. I just need to say a thank you to my team-mates at Hodor. I was lucky enough to take part in all scores, but I just wish I could pay everyone back better by not dying in half of them.
Pushing vDSA was fun for two reasons:
- Great teammates
- Strong competition (shout out to Gotta Blast / What Mechanics)
We probably wont be going back, so hopefully this might help you guys in future runs, since theres not a lot of full runs out there.
Thanks to everyone for watching and reading my stuff up until now. I hope you may continue to enjoy them in Wrathstone onwards.

![ESO - Magicka Warden Rotation Showcase - See Description - Murkmire PTS 4.2.0
EDIT 1st October - Please see this video for better comparison against other Magicka Classes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD0Qn2edBIA
Just a quick rotation showcase for the Magicka Warden, with the new changes in mind. This is the PTS, so anything can be subject to change until the official release of Murkmire, which we should see in 4-5 weeks. Please see the updated video for news about further changes
I will highlight the fact that this is just a rotation showcase and not a build video as such since I didnt test much apart from a few enchants.
NOTE: I tested here with Minor Vulnerability (as is standard now for Magicka when comparing setups), elemental drain and orbs for support. I did not have Combat Prayer nor one of either (Minor Prophecy, Minor Sorcery or Engulfing Flames. Minor vulnerability was needed since I was comparing a Shock damage glyph with a frost and an Absorb Magicka one (theyre all basically the same). Thanks, @stileanima for your time.
I must say that the Magicka Warden rotation is more interesting to play than ever. DPS-wise, the MagWarden is roughly the same as it is in previous patches, if not a tiny bit lower. Before now, the rotation was basically just keeping up your dots, but now it is doing just that whilst casting Deep Fissure on cooldown which is pretty fun (I had an uptime of 94% in this video without recasting early, so I guess this is what you could aim for).
Bird of Prey, which gives Minor Berserk on cooldown, is one of the really nice changes, but for a Magicka Warden, there just isnt bar space for it, unfortunately.
I am also aware that with Screaming Cliff Racer, you will get more damage with this ability, the further away you stand. If you stand outside of Zaan range and used a different monster set combination instead though, your DPS is actually lower, thats how good Zaan is. However, it would be really good for the fights where you truly play ranged and dont use Zaan.
One thing that must be taken into account is the loss of 3% spell critical from our Champion Passives. This would result in a small DPS loss when playing solo, but when in a group with a Magsorc present, it wont really be a loss.
Another good thing is that the DPS loss without the bear vs with the bear is much smaller before. It is still around 2k or so less, but much better than the 5-6k in previous patches.
On the whole, though, it is still a tough ask for the Magicka Warden to compete with the top Magicka Nightblades, but there shouldnt be any reason not to bring a Magicka Warden DD along for 95%+ of raid groups.

Build Setup https://i.imgur.com/mQb6vZs.jpg
Here are the proposed changes to the Magicka Warden class:
- Advanced Species: Increased the bonus to damage done for each Animal Companion ability slotted to 3% at rank II, previously 2%.
- Betty Netch: Increased the resources restored by this ability and its morphs by approximately 60%.
- Dive - Screaming Cliff Racer (morph): This morph no longer has a minimum range requirement to obtain part of the 15% damage done bonus. Every meter you are away from the target adds 1% damage done, up to a maximum of 15%.
- Bird of Prey (morph): The Minor Berserk buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted.
- Feral Guardian: Decreased the damage done by the bear summoned from this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
- Scorch: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 25%.
- Swarm: Increased the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.

![Retribution? - Stamina Templar PVE (90k+) - Dragonhold - ESO
This is a Stamina Templar PVE build and Iron Atronach Parse for the Dragonhold patch.
The Stamina Templar has seen some significant improvements since the release of Scalebreaker. The main one is the long-awaited fix for Power of the Light, which can also now deal Critical Damage. Ritual of Retribution is also a pretty strong Magicka-costing AOE skill, which gives a heal and deals very useful damage. The Stamina Templar in Dragonhold is a bit of an AOE Machine as a result, to go with its competitive Single Target DPS.
This parse was performed by @Panaa, who raids with Stress Tested on PC EU.
Link to @Panaas YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQjHljzdJKq2wMP5lwmhgmA
We are using the Max Stamina/Stamina Regen food, with 64 points into Stamina for all Stamina Setups in these rotations.
Gear used here:
5x Lokkestiiz, 5x Relequen, 2x Selene. (See build screenshot for full details).
The above is used simply for purposes of comparison against other classes, in this test environment.
Race used: Orc
Alternatives (none quite as good): Dunmer, Woodelf, Redguard, Khajiit
In real raid situations, consider Artaeum Takeaway Broth or Max HP Max Stam as food alternatives.
Other gear that is perfectly suitable for different situations/builds include:
Deadly Strikes, Leviathan, Tzogvin, Advancing Yokeda, Velidreth, Maarselok
CMX Parse, Build (Gear, Skills, CPs), Superstar from Video https://imgur.com/a/0uhyRTf
Rotation (Courtesy of @Panaa)
To summarise:
Start:
Hail - Trap - Ritual - Balista
Jabs - POTL - Jabs x5 - POTL
Repeat:
Hail - Ritual
Jabs x2 - POTL - Jabs x5 - POTL
Replace a cast of Jabs with Barbed Trap or Dawnbreaker whenever you need to cast them.
Remember now that for each POTL cast, the Minor Fracture debuff lasts 9 seconds, so there is no need to worry about being perfect on the recasting of this skill. Just do make sure to let it explode before recasting it!
The vMA Bow is in use here. There is no real benefit in casting Poison Injection in the first place here since we want to be spending as much time as possible casting Jabs for the subsequent Burning Light procs. This pretty much means that Masters Bow is out of the question. If you did want to play with Poison Injection and Masters Bow, it is still possible, but its really not worth the effort.
2x Daggers with this setup may well be more effective than 1x Dagger, 1x Axe. This type of rotation doesnt give too many chances to proc the axe bleed. Someone help @Panaa farm that second dagger!
Selene is an effective Monster Set on Stamplar, but Maarselok, with Bashing, is a fine alternative, and so is Velidreth.
Deadly Strikes will be a really good alternative for Lokkestiiz, and also Relequen in fights, where keeping those stacks up are not so easy.
Dawnbreaker, when used, gives 300 weapon damage bonus before modifiers for a respectable 20 seconds, so using this ultimate on Stamplar looks to be pretty competitive.
About alternative skills that were not used in this video:
Consuming Trap - costs Magicka, so using this can be a boost to Stamina Sustain. If this is applied to an enemy who dies, you will also get a very generous resource return too. Nice for trash fights or boss fights with smaller mobs. However, Stamina sustain on Stamplar is already pretty good, and it is not necessarily a DPS gain, but might be useful in fights where channelled abilities dont do well, e.g. when a lot of blocking is needed.
Restoring Focus - A great utility skill. Gives a huge amount of resistances (Major Resistances plus a 50% bonus when standing inside the Rune). 240 Stamina is recovered every second after it is cast too, which is very useful for Stamina sustain.
Poison Injection - feels super weird having to putting this skill here in this section on a Stamina PVE Build. Might be useful to have on the back bar instead of one of the Fighters Guild skills, if you need some added range on certain fights. Still a pretty strong ability in execute.
Whirling Blades - a spammable/execute that is very useful when a dual-wield AOE setup is desired. Not recommended for pure use in Single Target execution though.
Empowering Sweep - a pretty decent, low-costing Ultimate. Excels when multiple enemies are hit, so great in AOE fights.
Vigor / Ring of Preservation (back-barred) - for extra self-heals if needed. I would recommend replacing one of the back bar Fighters Guild abilities.
Rending Slashes - if you want to add some true DOT damage, then you could slot this on your front bar. Not necessarily a DPS gain, but might be useful in fights where channelled abilities dont do well, e.g. when a lot of blocking is needed.
