Just a quick rotation showcase for the Magicka Warden, with the new changes in mind. This is the PTS, so anything can be subject to change until the official release of Murkmire, which we should see in 4-5 weeks. Please see the updated video for news about further changes
I will highlight the fact that this is just a rotation showcase and not a build video as such since I didn't test much apart from a few enchants.
NOTE: I tested here with Minor Vulnerability (as is standard now for Magicka when comparing setups), elemental drain and orbs for support. I did not have Combat Prayer nor one of either (Minor Prophecy, Minor Sorcery or Engulfing Flames. Minor vulnerability was needed since I was comparing a Shock damage glyph with a frost and an Absorb Magicka one (they're all basically the same). Thanks, @stileanima for your time.
I must say that the Magicka Warden rotation is more interesting to play than ever. DPS-wise, the MagWarden is roughly the same as it is in previous patches, if not a tiny bit lower. Before now, the rotation was basically just keeping up your dots, but now it is doing just that whilst casting Deep Fissure on cooldown which is pretty fun (I had an uptime of 94% in this video without recasting early, so I guess this is what you could aim for).
Bird of Prey, which gives Minor Berserk on cooldown, is one of the really nice changes, but for a Magicka Warden, there just isn't bar space for it, unfortunately.
I am also aware that with Screaming Cliff Racer, you will get more damage with this ability, the further away you stand. If you stand outside of Zaan range and used a different monster set combination instead though, your DPS is actually lower, that's how good Zaan is. However, it would be really good for the fights where you truly play ranged and don't use Zaan.
One thing that must be taken into account is the loss of 3% spell critical from our Champion Passives. This would result in a small DPS loss when playing solo, but when in a group with a Magsorc present, it won't really be a loss.
Another good thing is that the DPS loss without the bear vs with the bear is much smaller before. It is still around 2k or so less, but much better than the 5-6k in previous patches.
On the whole, though, it is still a tough ask for the Magicka Warden to compete with the top Magicka Nightblades, but there shouldn't be any reason not to bring a Magicka Warden DD along for 95%+ of raid groups.

Here are the proposed changes to the Magicka Warden class:
- Advanced Species: Increased the bonus to damage done for each Animal Companion ability slotted to 3% at rank II, previously 2%.
- Betty Netch: Increased the resources restored by this ability and its morphs by approximately 60%.
- Dive - Screaming Cliff Racer (morph): This morph no longer has a minimum range requirement to obtain part of the 15% damage done bonus. Every meter you are away from the target adds 1% damage done, up to a maximum of 15%.
- Bird of Prey (morph): The Minor Berserk buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted.
- Feral Guardian: Decreased the damage done by the bear summoned from this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
- Scorch: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 25%.
- Swarm: Increased the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
