Energy self-reliance is empowering, but is often ridiculed by fools saying our stations won't charge on a cloudy day. Remember this: Daylight is good, Direct sunlight is better. Either way we're going to get a charge. The only time we won't get a, is in total darkness, or while running a very inefficient station.
Regardless of the electric grid, our critical systems remain powered up in our home and in the ham shack, without worry. Energy prepping is a natural evolution of radio prepping. If we don't have electricity, we can't power our radio equipment. Ultimately, it's up to us where that power comes from.
