I brought the new DL4KA PA500 amplifier along to Lapland for testing.
Of course, I should have checked before leaving home if the ham radio amplifier was compatible with previous versions used on the channel. The power connector pinout has been changed in favor of the BAT500 battery pinout. This was a good update.
Now I need to figure out if the VOX circuit works without a PTT interface as on previous versions, or if this new version has stopped VOX which can be enabled with a key press. It shouldn't be this difficult (and I should have tested it before coming out).
