Emerson Designer 52" ceiling fan in chesterfield brown. This is another fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2024. Very similar to my NIB one, reversible with wood blades, but this one is KB55 and I do believe my other is standard K55. Was super excited about this one. It was all nicely disassembled and all of the parts down to the mounting hardware were present. That's always great for keeping things in best condition, but it also makes them harder to spot! Might've missed this one, if it weren't for the canopy sticking up between two piles of trash. You get really good at spotting the absolute finest and smallest of details during Cleanup Week hunting! Overall it was very clean and in excellent condition. I still took everything apart and cleaned inside and out per usual, but really it could've been good to go with just a quick wipe down. Obviously, the brown models have less of a yellowing issue on the plastic, but they do tend to have more of that greenish coloring if they've seen a lot of sunlight or elements exposure. This one has no signs of green and is very much like-new, no other signs of brittleness or breakdown. I think the shaft bushing needs a drop of oil, I believe that's the noise that turns up somewhere in the middle. Up until that moment while recording, I hadn't heard any issue out of it so I never even removed the switch housing, but if I install it longer-term I will go back and lubricate that. Otherwise, it's operationally pretty fantastic. Needed some balancing, but all in all your typical very solid plastic Emerson. I'm super excited to have one not in box now, because the plastic Designers are highly childhood for me and this allows a better accessibility to eventually display one.
