Hunter Eclipse 44" ceiling fan in white. This is another fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2023. Initially I wasn't sure if I was going to salvage it as it had been rained on, but earlier I had found a 44" Stratford II missing some key parts and decided to repurpose its blades to complete this one. I always kind of liked these because the motor housing is almost like a small version of the Millennium/Berkeley housing. It's a cool housing design, but the other elements are kind of boring. Really wish they'd done something creative for a more-contemporary overall style in this smaller size format for the lower-tier product offering. Real missed opportunity there, in my opinion. Probably wouldn't have been a great seller, but to be fair, I don't think this model was either. But that's part of the reason I didn't part it out, and now that I have a video in its more or less "original state", I'm thinking I'll do some tuning more toward my vision for what it should've been. I have a few spare integrated light switch housings and may swap the bowl out for one of those. Pair it with something a bit more modern in glass, and I think I'd already love it ten times more. Like most smaller Hunters of the period, performance is not lacking one bit. Airflow felt pretty typical which is overall fantastic, and the thing absolutely flies on high. Ended up being glad I put in the effort to clean this one up.
