Here is an easy location where you can find and mine Pure Quartz in Palworld 1.0 without traveling deep into the dangerous frozen mountain region.
This collection of Pure Quartz deposits can be found in a clearing southwest of the Mossanda Forest fast-travel point.
The important coordinates are approximately:
Mossanda Forest Teleport: 233, -117
Pure Quartz Clearing: 211, -133
Once you arrive at Mossanda Forest, travel a short distance southwest until you reach the open clearing containing several mineable resource deposits.
Pure Quartz nodes have almost the same dark rock formation as Coal deposits. The easiest way to tell them apart is by looking for the pale, translucent, frosted crystal sections growing across the rock.
They look like regular Coal deposits that suddenly decided to adopt the frosted-tips hairstyle of a 1990s boy band.
Equip a pickaxe and mine the deposits normally to collect Pure Quartz. A stronger pickaxe or Pal with a good Mining level will break the nodes considerably faster.
Pure Quartz is an important material used to produce Circuit Boards and other advanced equipment. Circuit Boards become necessary for several electrical structures, production facilities, weapons, and later-game crafting recipes.

It unlocks at Technology Level 52 and allows Mining Pals assigned to your base to continuously produce Pure Quartz.
Building the Pure Quartz Quarry requires:
• 70 Stone
• 100 Pure Quartz
• 30 Paldium Fragments
• 10 Ancient Civilization Parts
This means you still need to manually collect at least 100 Pure Quartz before you can build the automated quarry.
The Mossanda Forest clearing is particularly useful for obtaining that initial supply because it is close to a teleport point and does not require a long expedition through the freezing Astral Mountains.
