"Bitch I'm Already Dead"
I was writing a song about dying, when I noticed that everyone who writes or sings about death, dies ... and usually tragically.
Juice WRLD was a rapper who virtually invented emo rap and was a leading figure in SoundCloud rap. His second album "Death Race for Love" came out in 2019 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Juice tweeted out "I've been dead for years" to promote his new song "Already Dead". He passed away at age 21, before the song was released.
In 2019, federal agents informed Chicago police that Juice's plane was carrying guns and drugs. During the raid on his plane, Juice swallowed pills to hide them and died of toxic levels of oxycodone in his system.
Side Note: I quickly reworked the theme of my tune to be about returning home through space and time (totally not dying). I then dropped the lyrics and turned the melody into a guitar instrumental. That should be safe (youtu.be/1FuUKGrjEGY)!
