Paul Dubé: Every October, Dress Purple Day raises awareness of the important role individuals and communities play in supporting children, youth and families. That is why we dress purple.
Early Resolution Officer #1: I dress purple because every child and youth deserves to be physically and emotionally safe.
Early Resolution Officer #2: I dress purple because I want to make sure that youth know that they are not alone, and that they know their rights in the child welfare system.
Early Resolution Manager: I dress purple because children and youth have a right to be heard
in decisions about their life. It is their life and they know what they need and we need to listen.
Paul Dubé: I dress purple to remind young people in the child welfare system they can always turn to us for help. Our job is to listen to young people’s concerns, get to the bottom of things, and help resolve the problem. We all have a role in making sure young people know their rights and have access to the resources and help they need.
