This version of Clown of the Jungle (1947), without the narration on the opening scenes, was likely sent to non-English speaking countries so a local voice could be overdubbed. On the Swedish rental VHS “Kalle Ankas festliga upptåg,” from where I transferred this, that obviously didn’t happen – and so we have this somewhat strange version, where it’s up to the viewer to interpret what’s happening.
