This video shows students completing the "DNA Obstacle Course" to learn about gel electrophoresis and DNA fingerprinting.
A single student navigating the course would be like a small piece of DNA moving through an agarose gel during electrophoresis. A group of students helps to demonstrate why longer strands of DNA take longer to move through the gel.
The different speeds at which fragments of DNA move through a gel allow a DNA fingerprint to be created!

Hi biology friends! I created this tutorial video covering how you can use Google Sheets to perform linear regression analysis.
The data set Ive analyzed in this video was from my trial run of a new lab for AP Biology. In the lab, students use micropipettes to transfer water into a test tube in 200 ÎĽL (0.200 mL) increments. The mass of the water is measured after each transfer. I will add a link to the video summarizing this lab when I finish it.
