This video shows an experiment conducted to determine the formula units of magnesium chloride.
The magnesium chloride salt was formed by the reaction of magnesium metal with hydrochloric acid. The solution containing the salt is heated to dry the salt before a final mass measurement.
The data from this lab can be used to calculate the ratio of magnesium and chloride ions in the salt formed by the reaction!

Law of Independent Assortment: Non-homologous chromosomes assort randomly.
We then use Punnett squares to predict the inheritance of traits, including sex-linked conditions like red-green color vision deficiency.
Finally, we model fertilization to determine the final, unique genotype and phenotype of the offspring.
