Request Playthrough | Extra: The Mega + Platinum Challenge
Difficulty: Mega +
It seems that I'm not finished with this game yet. Not even close. There is in fact one last loose end that needs to be tied up. Simple. We got to beat the game on the hardest difficulty, Mega +.
But in order to even do that, I had to go through the whole game again on New Game +. Yeah. We did that. We made it all the way to the end and now we're ready to take on Chronomon in the final battle. I had to make sure that the Digimon in my party have 9999 stats in every single category: HP, SP, Strength, Vitality, Intelligence, Spirit and Speed. Every digimon at 9999 stats in every category. Plus I needed to have abilities that would provide needed support and the right accesosries. It's a lot of work.
Chronomon in Mega+ is no laughing matter. Having Apocalymon in your party will help cause Darkness-Zone will always hit, dealing damage equal to 20% of the enemy's max health. Doing this helped made it easier. Venusmon with her personality trait Great Embrace will allow her to Overheal all our Digimon. LOVE YOU ensures it and with her high spirit stat of 9999, it helps. Chronomon DM (ours btw) with Chrono Devolution will deal damage and debuff the boss. Lucemon SM having Combo Magic helps big time if your bond with it is very high especially when he does Divine Atonment. It helped big time. I also included Jupitermon WM with his attacks that will help at the end, when he's gearing up to deliver Holy Flare. With enough damage, you can get him out of that stance.
I can go on and on but you can watch and see for yourself just how difficult it was. It was very difficult but I had to move on the fly and make sure to get it done. As you can tell, I delivered and then some. I hope you all enjoy this because this is a fitting way to end this playthrough and then some.
Beating the final boss in Mega + difficulty will net the gold trophy, The Pinnacle of Existence. And if you've kept up with me, then I also get the Platinum trophy, Agent of Perfection.
Thanks for watching. This is a journey that was a lot of fun. It made the journey worthwhile.
