With the battle against the Knight's Titan behind them, Kris and Susie stand at the 2nd Dark Fountain, with the latter confessing that she wants things to be the same as they were yesterday, and the days to come to be just the same, so that things can go back to how they were before. Afterwards, Kris uses their SOUL to seal the Fountain, bringing them and Susie to the main hall of the church. However, Toriel appears to be nowhere in sight, and neither does the Knight... With this, Susie appears to want nothing more than to leave. Outside, it's still quite dark, but the rain appears to have calmed down considerably during the course of their time spent at the church... With not a single further lead on how to open the Shelter doors, the duo prepares to head back to Kris's house, where they are greeted by Toriel and Sans, who appear to have been partying in their absence! Confused and somewhat disturbed, Susie decides to leave, while Kris begins to head to bed... It appears to be hard for them to go to sleep with all the noise that Toriel and Sans are making downstairs... But then, Susie's voice is heard outside, and she is still determined to prevent whatever calamity that the prophecy mentioned to come to pass. Meanwhile, Kris's phone begins to ring, and the mysterious caller from Noelle's house is heard, mentioning some kind of promise... Just what does it all mean...?
