After some time spent training up her team, Rosa readies herself to challenge the Gym in Virbank City. The atmosphere is vastly different than that of the Aspertia Gym, as the Gym itself is a stage for the Gym Leader, Roxie, to jam out with her bandmates. Before Roxie can accept a challenge, though, her bandmates must be defeated in Pokémon battles.
Guitarist Billy Jo:
The first Trainer that Rosa chooses to battle is the band's guitarist, Billy Jo. How will she battle in comparison to Cheren's pupils in Aspertia City?
Venipede:
The first Pokémon that the guitarist chooses is the Centipede Pokémon, Venipede. It knows Rollout, Poison Sting, Screech, and Pursuit.
Koffing:
This next Pokémon appears to be a staple for the band. As a member of the guitarist's lineup, it can use Poison Gas, Tackle, Smog, and Smokescreen.
Drummer Nicky:
This bald-headed man is the drummer in Roxie's band. Will he fight differently compared to his colleague?
Grimer:
The first Pokémon in the drummer's roster is the Sludge Pokémon, Grimer. It is capable of using Pound, Harden, Mud-Slap, and Disable.
Koffing:
Like Billy Jo, Nicky also has a Koffing. It uses the same moves as the other one, too.
