Along the path of Route 121, he encounters a trio of Team Aqua Grunts preparing to make haste and depart for Mt. Pyre. Remembering what the Admin, Shelly, had brought up about Team Magma having gone there before, the boy decides to follow them, aiming to stop them from causing further trouble in their bid to expand the seas.
