After winning the Bolt Badge from the Nimbasa Gym, Rosa heals up her Pokémon and prepares to depart for the next location: Driftveil City. However, she spots Hugh and a group of Team Plasma's Grunts. The former continues to voice his hatred for the group as a whole, which bothers the goons enough to surround him! Seeing his childhood friend behind him, Hugh calls for Rosa to help out.
Team Plasma Grunt:
This individual, like many others in the organization, appears to be sore about the team's initial defeat, and is quite eager for a chance at vengeance, boasting about the Pokémon he stole two years ago.
Trubbish:
The Grunt's stolen Pokémon is a Trubbish. It knows Sludge, Stockpile, Swallow, and Take Down.
Team Plasma Grunt:
The next underling is eager to step up where her associate failed.
Watchog:
Her Pokémon is Watchog. It can use Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Super Fang, and After You.
After all of the Grunts are beaten, they do what they do best: flee. With these goons gone, Hugh comes clean about his reason for hating the group: Five years ago, Team Plasma had stolen a Purrloin from his little sister, which was meant to be a present... As such, he has come to hate Pokémon thieves as a whole.
