Inside of the Pokémon World Tournament building, Cheren is waiting, appearing to have been called to the area by Clay. With him being enlisted to enter, Hugh wastes no time in getting himself entered, leaving Rosa to do the same after the boys are finished. Who will win this first Driftveil City Tournament?




Hugh:
Rosa's first opponent in the Driftveil Tournament is Hugh. Will he be stronger than the last time they fought?

Pignite:
Hugh's greeting card for the Tournament is his prized partner Pokémon, Pignite. It knows Take Down, Smog, Heat Crash, and Rollout.

Simipour:
This Pokémon appears to be a recent catch for Hugh. It can use Scald, Fury Swipes, Lick, and Leer.

Tranquill:
Another new face within Hugh's team. This Pokémon has Air Cutter, Taunt, Detect, and Roost in its arsenal.

Cheren:
The next opponent that Rosa must battle is Cheren, the Aspertia City Gym Leader. Will he be a tougher opponent than he was before?

Stoutland:
This time, Cheren starts his battles using Stoutland. The Big-Hearted Pokémon knows Tackle, Bite, Work Up, and Odor Sleuth.

Cinccino:
This next Pokémon appears to be a new face within the Gym Leader's lineup. It can use Work Up, Sing, Wake-Up Slap, and Bullet Seed.

Watchog:
Cheren's last Pokémon for the Tournament is Watchog. It has Work Up, Confuse Ray, Hypnosis, and Bite in its arsenal.

Colress:
The scientist who appears to be associated with Team Plasma is Rosa's final opponent in the Tournament! What does he hope to gain from this battle...?

Magneton:
Colress's greeting card is Magneton, the evolved form of the Magnemite he used on Route 4. It knows Thunder Wave, ThunderShock, Supersonic, and Mirror Shot.

Elgyem:
A new face for Colress's team, which is a slight deviation of his usage of Steel-type Pokémon. It can use Heal Block, Growl, Headbutt, and Psybeam.

Klink:
The last Pokémon that Colress enlisted is his Klink. Like before, it has Charge, ThunderShock, Gear Grind, and Bind in its arsenal.
