So my Massey Ferguson GC2300 Awesome tractor is hard to start in the cold. Let's find out if I can do something about that!!!
I bought a battery charger/maintainer for the tractor. This charger maintainer doesn't have any current draw from the battery it charges and I think this is a key to helping maintain the battery voltage in the cold.
I also bought a battery tester. I saw Steve Rob Reviews do a review on this kind of tester and thought I would try one. Here is a link to Steve's review of a battery tester similar to the one I bought: youtube.com/watch?v=0eUsNK9vPbU

I also bought a new battery for the tractor as the tester showed that my old battery was not producing enough CCA to start the tractor when the temps dropped.
