My Stihl FS90 Brush Cutter is some hard to start. I wonder why?
The last time I serviced this Stihl FS90 brush cutter, that is getting onto 15 years old, was never!! Yep – NEVER!!
I'm kind of ashamed to admit that, but this FS90 has been working great since the day I bought it. Sometimes it would be hard to start. Maybe I'd have to pull on it 8 or 10 times. But yesterday I tried to start this thing and I swear now I have one arm longer than the other!! No way could I get it started. I finally gave up before I had to call EHS to come and resuscitate me!! LOL
I have never serviced this brush cutter since I bought it. I only just changed the air filter about a month ago. That was the first time I had any of the covers off. There is probably 20 hours of use on the brush cutter, which isn't a lot but I only use this about 2 or 3 times a year. It's a great machine and when it starts, it works great, doesn't use much gas and the blade and lines are easy to change and restring.
Since this is my first foray into the innards of this thing I'm going cautiously. Have a look ad see what I find.
