Day 40 of ‘75 Days of Partition’ - Andrew Whitehead is an honorary professor at the University of Nottingham in the UK and also teaches at the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai.. He has collected over 200 oral stories from Partition witnesses with Kashmir as a focus of his research. Through his oral stories collection, he has reexamined the conflict in Kashmir. 75 Days of Partition' is a daily micro podcast series being aired for 75 days between June 3rd, 2022 and August 17th, 2022 (except Sundays) to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Partition in 2022. For context, August 17th is the day the boundary commission announced the Radcliffe Line separating India and Pakistan, 75 days after the Partition Plan was announced on June 3rd, 1947.
