LAUNCH! Day 4: Dr. Ali Khan's research asks the question: is healing possible through confrontation of Partition? Join us for a brief conversation with Dr. Khan, a research grantee, for our LAUNCH series, based on his paper, "Confronting Trauma: the ghosts and spectres of partition."
The 1947 Partition Archive is proud to be working with the Tata Trusts in launching University Access points for researchers seeking to access the nearly 10,000 oral histories preserved in The 1947 Partition Archive. Today is Day 2 of our five day LAUNCH event. For this pilot project, The 1947 Partition Archive has partnered with five universities during this trial period of three years, including: the University of Delhi, Ashoka University, Guru Nanak Dev University, Lahore University of Management Sciences and Habib University. The Tata Trusts - Partition Archive Universities Access Program supports access for researchers at the three Indian Universities mentioned above via competitive grants.
