The Horror is a ,,stress-DoT“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Protector’s Kite + stress trinket) - guardian
3rd: Antiquarian (Tears of the Lost + dodge trinket) - DoT dealer
4th: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 2 guardians
6) 3 disruptors
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
The Horror is a stress team with great strength of DoT and little bit of pure damage. You have 3 (self)healers, 3 disruptors, 2 guardians and 2 riposters. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „original setup“, „virtue team“, „porcupine“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantion of Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), it’s better to stick with „beast“ version. And Man at arms (damager / stresser), stress variantion is optimal.
My advice: Start with Occultist for disruption, next use Man at arms for buffing the team OR guarding someone, then Abomination for dealing damage and lastly Antiquarian for regeneration spam.
I was looking long time for this team, looks nice, many advantages. Yeah, maybe in heaven. The team is not that great as it looks. The main problem here is the damage output, only Abomination can make great damage. If you not sacrifice a move forward with you Man at arms (or Antiquarian), you cannot open the porcupine’s full potential. I lost only once against darkest player with a decent mark team, but truth be told, even the other players in queue were challenging. This was kinda mid…
