Better safe than sorry is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Spiked shield + accuracy trinket) - guardian
3rd: Occultist (stress trinket + dodge trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Vestal (stun trinket + accuracy trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Good damage output
2) Great stress output
3) Great healing potential
4) 2 disruptors
5) 2 stunners
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Marks are a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
4) Disruption is a menace
5) DoT is a menace
Better safe than sorry is an odd damage team with great strenght of stress and very little bit of DoT. You have 3 healers, 2 disruptors and 2 stunners. That’s it, no other advantages. Sadly this team is vulnerable against stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, such as „the finishers“, „mix damage + DoT“, „support Crusader“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), both are equally good and bad at the same time.
My advice: Start with one of your stunners (Crusader / Vestal), next use Occultist for disruption. Now for Man at arms, if you have him as damager, open the riposte, if he’s a stresser, buff the team or guard someone.
I was kinda curious, how should be played this team, because… well, if you look closely, you can see many… so many disadvantages. First things first, YOU CANNOT MAKE A PRESSURE. With 2 stunners and 2 great stressers you don’t have much power to beat harder opponents. I lost 5x - once against darkest player with stress team (close call), quite a nice match. Next I lost against an apprentice player with lame based team [Heylow comp], 2x against veteran players with stress team (one of him was in rematch) and lastly against a novice player with stress team.
The team is so bad, you can only hope to get some low-ranked player, because none of the strategies works perfectly. Sure I got only these players, that’s a minus for the score, but it cannot be better played. Yes, you have a little chance to win the match against harder opponents, but if you don’t wanna waste your time and patience, pick some different team. I don’t recommend this trash.
