Beautifully engineered for trouble shooting and LOW failure rate, low malfunction rate.
When I said "no anti-bear traps" I mean that is not a jam potential here. The Ryder ratchets while cocking while the 25 does not; the 25 simply would not handle well ratcheting.

After three generations of fix videos for the Ryder, I am officially out of that arena. Some theorize there are up to 5 different types of jams in current production Ryders. I nailed down two.
I realized that young shooters were struggling too much with current Ryder to clear jams that are fatal for most shooters.
Those jams were too confusing to grapple with for most shooters
The failure rate was too high.
The frustration rate signaled to me to do the honorable and moral move of just recommending better guns like the 25 or even BETTER youth rifles - like the Boy Scout and 2840. Both are excellent relatives of the venerable 880.
