PLEASE KNOW YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOOT HUNDREDS OF SHOTS BEFORE ACCURACY ARRIVES. YOUR FIRST PRIORITY IS GETTING PAST THE JAM DANGER.
Note: I raced through my first 600 shots and, with Ballistol treatment, well past the jam danger. I won't look to lube again until 1200. Just few drops in oil hole.
The first few dozen shots look terrible. Shooters must go through this break in period. Cleaning the barrel speeds up this process. These Daisy guns have a red grime I have seen repeatedly. Clean it out.
RWS cleaning pellets can go full length of barrel. They simulate ammo. Make sure the gun is empty and muzzle load with rod - AFTER cocking. Cleaning pellets will expedite break in period.

Much nicer spring pellet guns need 500 shots before you even consider looking at accuracy. Many shooters have stated that reality. My R-9 did not need that much time. But common pellet springers ($100-$200) need hundreds of shots.
