The 760 has been an iconic entry-level Crosman for decades. Some question the quality of the current 760. The 760 shown in the video is NEWLY ordered - the latest production run. The plastics are much firmer, and the barrel was tight.
For Those Who Say it Makes it Worse to Oil
⚠️Folks, there are those who think oiling the pump moving parts makes it harder to operate. That has never happened to me with the RIGHT pump gun lube. The video shows a squeeze bottle with 30 weight mineral oil.⚠️
Your 760 doesn't get harder to use when you use 30 weight ND oil. Using other lubes - INCLUDING SILICONE - is not the same thing for the grinding parts in a pump gun.
My pump guns - especially CROSMAN - only get easier to operate with good quality non- detergent mineral oil. Many old timers swear by it.

Better than the Red Ryder, the ultimate potential of the 760 is very good but many times unrealized. Even as a smoothbore, it can get good accuracy as a pellet gun with the RIGHT care, handling, and pellet choices.
