⚠️When I said the gun could start to break down (suffer a break) after 8 pumps, that is MORE possible if you are STRUGGLING TO PUMP IT.⚠️

⚠️The ultimate user error would be shooters going WELL PAST the recommended pump count: 10 pumps becomes 12 pumps. 12 pumps becomes 15 pumps.⚠️

On my most prized 880, I have not had to change the poppet or the valve seal in the compression chamber. That 880 is from 1997.

Others break the poppet or easily bust the O ring there over pumping. Fixing that is the hardest repair work for the 880.

MY 880 IS PUMPED 7 PUMPS OR LESS. ALWAYS.
