In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet Yorkshire terrier applique.

For this pattern you will need tan, cream, dark brown, black and red crochet cotton or wool, I used 4 ply crochet cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Scissors, a darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the dog together. White and black thread to embroider a dot on the eyes and markings on the feet.
The finished size will be 18cm x 13cm (7” x 5”) for the larger Yorkshire terrier, using 8 ply wool. The medium Yorkshire terrier will be 11.5cm x 8cm (4.5” x 3”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small Yorkshire terrier will be 9cm x 7cm (3.5” x 2.75”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
