In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet small star applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton color (208) Yellow Gold. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors.
The finished size will be 5cm wide x 5cm high (2” wide x 2” high) for the larger small star, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the small star in Catona will be 5cm wide x 5cm high (2” wide x 2” high). The medium small star will be 4cm wide x 4cm high (1.5” wide x 1.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small, small star will be 3cm wide x 3cm high (1.25” wide x 1.25” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
