For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (179) Topaz, (404) English Tea, (115) Hot Red, (110) Black and (162) Black Coffee for the brick house and (106) Snow White, (115) Hot Red, (110) Black, (074) Mercury and (162) Black Coffee for the plain house. A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the house together.
The finished size will be 18cm wide x 30cm high (7” wide x 12” high) for the larger house, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the house in Catona will be 14.5cm wide x 24cm high (5.5" wide x 9.5" high). The medium house will be 13cm wide x 19cm high or 5” wide x 7.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small house will be 9.5cm wide x 14cm high (3.75” wide x 5.5” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
