In this video I will walk you through the set up of the Creality Ender 3 V3 PLUS high speed 3D printer from unboxing to your first print. This printer requires very little in terms of assembly but I will show you how to get started with the Ender 3 V3 PLUS and share with you what I was able to achieve in terms of print quality.
We will be starting with Orca Slicer as our slicer but after a while Creality released Creality Print 5.1 - I would highly recommend checking it out as you'll see from the results in this video. It was best paired with Creality Hyper PLA as it seems they have tuned their profiles very well for their own filament.

Overall, I would recommend the Creality Ender 3 V3 PLUS for beginner and advanced users alike now that a reliable print profile is available. The PLUS model gives you huge build volume for large items like cosplay accessories and helmets. The Core XZ motion system makes for silky smooth layers and the four strain gauge sensors in the print bed ensure perfect first layers every time.
This printer will now be sent off to my print farm for long term torture testing and hopefully it stands the test of time. In a future video I will be investigating my theory on the gantry racking.
If you are new to 3D printing I still think you should have realistic expectations of the learning curve involved with the hobby. The machine works well out of the box but if you happen to run into issues you will likely get frustrated at first. Take a deep breath, stick with it and don't give up! It doesn't matter if you have a Creality, Bambu Labs, or any other popular high speed printer of this era, eventually you will need to do some troubleshooting eventually - especially if you start printing with new and exotic materials.
