In this video I'm going to share my experience with the CraftBot Plus Pro 3D printer with you. Everything from it's specifications, to the initial setup, the Craftware software, and the multitude of prints I was able to accomplish in a variety of materials like PLA, PETG, and even ABS!
This 3d printer is appropriately nicknamed "The Tank" and it carries a 5 year warranty from CraftBot. This should be some indication of the level of confidence they have in the quality of their product. This is not your average sub $500 Chinese machine.
Everything worked great right out of the box for me and I had very little tweaking to do with material settings from the presets that were available in the Craftware software. This 3D printer easily conquered the ABS prints that I threw at it and I only had one or two parts lift off the print bed through an entire roll of ABS. The optional dome cover and door aided in preventing cold drafts from entering the build chamber. The filter on the dome also helped eliminate some of the odor associated with ABS printing.
I think it is evident that CraftBot has spent a lot of time on both the software and hardware development to bring a complete package to its customer base without compromise.
This is one of the few desktop 3D printers where I felt confident enough in the printer to leave it running over night or unattended while I was not home. The level of quality and attention to detail on this machine is fantastic and I would highly encourage you to look into it.
