It is hard to resist the temptation to upgrade, so I didn't this time and I'm trying something new. I am a big fan of the Voron printers and I plan on building one or more in the future, for now I wanted to see how well a smaller Voron build would turn out and... it did not disappoint. My favorite part of the extruder is that this is open source and can be easily modified with F360 as shown in the video.

Bondtech clones are available for cheap and as they break, you just buy again, for this extruder, you just make the parts again yourself, and you can make them stronger if you need to, a design like this should save some money over the long run.

I turn down quite a lot of opportunities to promote products because I want to avoid bias towards any products, I only accept products which I need and which I believe will last. Because I purchase the cheapest PETG at $15 per roll, it absorbs moisture readily, the dryer is a necessity for me, especially during the hot and humid summer months. I've never tried it on ABS, if this is of interest to anyone I can make a follow up video on the dryer and storage specifically.
