In this video, which is a fragment taken from our 2 hours long "Structure biomechanics and the fluid fighting stance" instructional video, we introduce an educational drill that helps greatly to establish the stance as a general biomechanical platform rather than as a style-specific feature. It is not a combative drill per se, as you are not dealing with "attacks" but rather with incoming forces from various angles that affect your position and structure, your goal/task being to counter directly from your new position without having to adjust first. So it is more a study than anything else, but it does cultivate greatly the skill of improvisation and actual problem solving, as well as the ability to gradually transform your structure into a weapon in itself.
