Cabbage Soup Diet | Peel a Pound Cabbage Soup Recipe | Weight Loss Detox SOUP!

INGREDIENTS
1 medium head cabbage - diced
1 cup diced onion
2 large diced carrots
3 stalks diced celery
1 small diced red bell pepper
6 cloves minced garlic
1 - 28oz can crushed tomatoes
6 cups beef broth OR chicken broth, vegetable broth, v8 juice or water
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. or pinch of red pepper flakes
parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Cooked 30-40 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Serve and enjoy.

Day 2: Soup 2-3xday Vegetables except NO corn or starchy vegetables, NO fruit
Day 3: Soup 2-3xday Fruits and vegetables, NO bananas or starchy vegetables
Day 4: Soup 2-3xday Bananas and skim milk
Day 5: Soup 2-3xday Protein such as fish, chicken (no skin), turkey or beef
Tomatoes (6-8)
Day 6: Soup 2-3xday Protein and vegetables (no starch veggies)
Day 7: Soup 2-3xday Unsweetened juices, fruits and vegetables (NO bananas or starchy vegetables)

Beef and Cabbage Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
5 cups diced cabbage
1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
1 medium diced onion
2 diced carrots
1/2 cup diced bell peppers
1/2 cup uncooked rice - I used jasmine rice
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 - 28oz can diced tomatoes
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. oregano
salt and black pepper

In skillet on med high heat brown and chop ground beef until no longer pink.
Add onions, carrots and minced garlic.
Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes.
Turn off heat.

In bowl add meat mixture, uncooked rice, diced tomatoes and spices.
Mix well. Add diced cabbage and mix well.

Add ingredients to baking dish. Pour over beef broth.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees Farenheit for 1 hour.
Remove from oven, add bell peppers, stir well,
return to oven and bake for 30-45 more minutes or until cabbage is tender.

Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
Enjoy.

Easy Asian Ground Beef and Cabbage Skillet | 1 Pound Beef Feeding 4 Hungry People

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup sliced onions
1/2 sliced red bell peppers
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. minced ginger

Sauce:
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Hoison sauce
1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tsp. chili garlic sambal or siracha
1 Tbsp. brown sugar

In a skillet on medium high heat add ground beef. Cook and chop until almost no pink.
Add minced garlic, ginger and onions. Cook and stir for one minute.

Turn heat down to medium. Add shredded cabbage a little at a time and stir to incorporate.
Add shredded carrots and stir.
Place on lid and cook for 2 minutes. Take off lid and stir, place on lid and cook for an additional 2 minutes. This will help steam and cook the cabbage.

Add bell peppers. Stir and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
Pour in sauce. Stir and cook one minute.

Serve and enjoy.
