Can you imagine a world without art? Art is in every single aspect of our lives. It is like the air that we are breathing in and out. It is everywhere that it is easy to be ignored. From the theme tune of the ten o’clock news to the scrubs that doctors and nurses put on, it’s all about arts. This half year of lockdown has shown us how important art is for every one of us, but perhaps for some people, they still haven’t learnt the value of art.
I have asked some of the performers to tell us about their experiences in the four concerts we have done - both in-person and online. You will get to see some performance and rehearsals footage that I haven’t released before. More importantly, they tell us how important it is for us to be able to keep performing, to keep doing what we love. This is our yearning for the arts to be kept alive.
