With a career spanning eight decades, Dame Angela Lansbury was a star on stage and on screen – both big and small screens. She made her professional debut when she was 16 whilst pretending to be a 19-year-old. Decades later in her 90s, she still actively performed in the West End, on Broadway and on screen. She had portrayed so many roles in her lifetime, but I’m sure for many in our generation, the most memorable one is Mrs Potts in Beauty and the Beast. She performed the film’s title song, which won numerous awards including the Academy Award for Best Original Song. To pay tribute to the legendary Dame Angela, Allie and Charlotte filmed a duet of this beautiful song.
