Playing around with my audio generators (oscillators).

The oscilloscope must be put into the X-Y mode to produce the Lissajous figures. I connected my "standard" or "reference" generator (HP3325B) to the "H" or "X" input of the oscilloscope. The standard generator has to be accurate. The generator to be tested I connected to the "V" or "Y" input of the oscilloscope. It was difficult turning the knob of the Leader by tiny amounts in order to stabilize the pattern. Both generators must be set to the same frequency. If the pattern comes to a complete or near complete standstill, both generators are at or almost at the same frequency. Small parallax errors (operator errors) were most likely also made because the camera gets in the way.
