Another Yamaha R-300 that needed checking out. This time an app was used instead of a regular signal generator. 3.5 mm to RCA jack adapter cable was used to feed signal from phone headphone jack to phono inputs. Problem was supposed to be no output from one channel when phono was used. Sine waves were fed into both the aux and phono inputs. Lower signal level was fed into phono inputs. App worked ok. No problems could be found in receiver.

Dial indicator bulb was burned out. Bulb is supposed to be 28 V and 100 ma. Replacement 24-30 v bulb rated at 80 ma was found. Not as bright as original Stanley bulb, but good enough. LED is an option, but that takes away the original character. All switches and pots were cleaned--not shown on video.
