This one is for the kids and those Canadian viewers who remember and enjoyed the CBC Vancouver TV shows with Shari Lewis, every one a ratings winner. The American ventriloquist, puppeteer and children's entertainer introduced her audiences to her popular sock puppet character Lamb Chop and then later Hush Puppy, Charley Horse and numerous others. She was a perfectionist as you can see from this opening clip with Lamb Chop to her "Christmas with Shari Lewis" 1976 CBC Special. Included in the 6 minutes is a Vancouver children's group called Sweet Magic, here singing the Bay City Rollers' hit "Saturday Night."
