The annual Charro Days Fiesta celebrates the shared heritage of the Texas–Mexico border region. Held in Brownsville since 1938, the festival includes multiple parades, traditional Mexican dance performances, arts and crafts exhibitions, live music, and other special events. This 1946 home movie shows festival goers—many wearing charro outfits and vibrant China Poblana dresses—dancing in the streets.
