This part 1 video will review the US mainstay WWII Glider the CG-4A Waco Glider. This glider was the 5th most US produced aircraft in WWII. Gliders were used to spearhead invasions. They were used during operations dragoon, Neptune, Market Garden and Varsity. The video will focus on the characteristics of the glider, its 3 different types of undercarriage, speeds, landings, and control surfaces.
