Bombs should be detonated on or in the target to maximize damage. The bomb’s fuse can be set with a time delay to optimize bomb placement within target. Fuses can be set from instantaneous detonation setting or up to 6 days. The longer delays will impede repair crews from conduction there work. Most delayed setting are between .01 and .1 seconds. This time delay allows the bomb to penetrate to the optimal location within the target at detonation. The video will review the bomb detonation process, fuse selection based on target type, and differences between nose and tail fuse detonations.
