On the public access TV show "Citizens for Community Media" Gus Zuehlke and Peter Helland discuss the crisis developing between Iran and the United States. This was filmed on June 18th and already President Trump has motioned that he was attacking Iran for shooting down an American drone flying over International waters. Apparently Trump called off the attack. But as Peter and Gus point out the American government routinely lies. People do not know for certain when the government lies or tells the truth. Gus shares his perspective on the Iranian crisis coming partly from his ministry in Africa and Palestine and partly from his personal knowledge through his grandfather of World War I and his father of World War II. These 2 wars helped lay the groundwork for what is currently happening in the Middle East and particularly in Iran. Gus argues that our response must be well thought out with all the facts on the table.
