Promo for new CBS show "Some of My Best Friends" about an aspiring actor who has a roommate who is gay. His parents seem more concerned that he'd be an actor than be gay.

Let's face it, this was CBS' version of Will & Grace (which premiered in 1998). Gay was the new black. This show didn't look any good either despite the presence of Jason Bateman. It ran only 8 episodes.

This spot aired on CBS during the showing of the 6th episode of Survivor Outback on Thursday March 1st, 2001.
