Yet another late 90s commercial for long distance services. Extreme sports were big due to the success of the ESPN X-Games and so this commercial brings champion BMXer Matt Hoffman to the screen.
Matt has to call his dad to tell him how well he's done on his bike lately. He says you too can call collect cheaply using 1-800 CALLATT.
Calling collect was apparently big business at the time, after 1-800-COLLECT hit paydirt other companies like AT&T wanted to jump in. AT&T began to heavily advertise their 1-800 number used for calling cards and other services as a way to call collect.
This commercial aired during a 1998 SF Giants baseball game.
