Introduced in Japan as Demon Castle DRACULA (Akumajo DRACULA) for both the Famicom Disk System and MSX2 [aka Vampire Killer - hence Simon's iconic whip] in '86, CASTLEVANIA has you taking control of vampire hunter SIMON BELMONT (descendant of another VH), as he approaches the castle of Count Dracula, who reappeared a century following his defeat by Simon's ancestor.
